Kintowe stern tube bearing is formulated from a synthetic fiber reinforced thermosetting resin and incorporated lubricating additives, DNV have proved our material is used for water-lubricated bearing material.
The function of our stern tube bearing is to carry the radial loads of the propeller shaft and to protect the shaft against wear. The bearing can be easily machined and installed. It features in pollution free, low coefficient of thermal expansion, excellent mechanical strength, maintenance free.
